LIQUID DAMAGE
Spill damage is serious because it corrodes sensitive electronic components, but it’s not unfixable.
As soon as you get liquid in your device you should stop using it. Turning it on will just make it worse as this allows electricity to flow through shorted wet components causing it to look like the board in the picture.
All liquid damaged devices we repair are ultrasonically cleaned, using industry leading ultrasonic cleaning equipment, ensuring any chances of further corrosion are minimal. This drastically improves the longevity of such repairs.
We will give you an assessment of what the liquid spill damaged, and what would need to be fixed, at no charge!
If your device is too far damaged to be repaired, you can take it back at no cost.
Faulty/Broken Ports (USB - USB-C - Video - Lan - Power)
The main reason for Device's Port Socket failure is physical damage. This is due to force being applied when inserting the cable or excessive wear to the port over time. Sometimes the port can feel loose when the cable is inserted, and other times the cable might not be able to connect all the way into the port due to damage to the internal pins or foreign objects intruding the contact area.
We are able to troubleshoot and diagnose, using specialized equipment, to pinpoint the exact problem causing the port to malfunction. This means we can replace the faulty or failed connector with the use of micro-soldering and then test the board to make sure the fault has been corrected and the device is working again.
